Dagun is a small farming community nestled in the Mary Valley just southof Gympie. The main 'township' consists of a few houses, a school, a saw mill and the Dagun Fruitgrowers co-op. The Mary Valley heritage railway passes through Dagun as well. We have a very close nit community centred on the school.
Farming is the main way of life here. The Country Music Muster is held annually in the Amamoor State Forest near here and is worth a visit.
